METHODOLOGY 5th & 6th PRIMARY
This year we have planned to divide the course into two sections. First we are going to use the materials provided CLASS BOOK : ROOFTOPS 5 or 6, twice a week. The second section or lesson on Thursdays or Fridays will be different depending on the level:

WORKSHOPS:1 LESSON PER WEEK.
STUDENTS from 5th level: will work with Grammar. That includes the following contents:
- Tell the TIME
- Verb TO BE
- MODAL VERBS
- PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE TENSES
- AFFIRMATIVE, NEGATIVE AND QUESTIONS
- PREPOSITIONS
- USE OF THE ADJECTIVE. COMPARATIVE AND SUPERLATIVE
STUDENTS from 6th level: will work with Speaking Workshops.
- PRESENTATIONS, PERSONAL INFORMATION
- LIKES/DISLIKES
- ASKING FOR INFORMATION: TIME, PERSONAL INFORMATION
- READING TEXTS ALOUD
- WORKING WITH FILMS
Why? Because the experience says that our students in the 5th course are studying the same contents in Spanish and Valencian, so we are doing the transversal work in English too. In the 6th level the time is shorter because they have some other end-of-year work and probably a trip, and in this case the third term is always chaotic for them.
