Imagen
Here we are again, new year course and new experiences are presented. I have to start saying thanks to all my new schoolmates and teachers who make my life easier. I should mention, to be completely frank, that I like teaching each year more while I have the chance to grow as a better person and to live experiences which I've never imagined. I refer to Halloween at Rafael Altamira school in Callosa de Segura (Alicante ), it has been so succesful that the  Callosa TV came to record the children. It was so nice and I hope to be able to publish some images or videos when available. Otherwise, I'm  posting today for another special reason. I'm tutor of an English Helper , Maria. This is a new situation for me and for the Spanish education system. It's the first time our schools have assistant teachers for english language. They are students who had finished their studies not so far and they have a good level of english B2 or more. That were some of the requirements t

This is the third time I assist to Novadors. To those who still don't know what is it, I shall tell you that is one of my best experiences in my professional life ever. This is a two days' course which allows teachers and professors to being updated about ICT and educational experiences in Spain. This year it was celebrated in Alcoy (Valencian Community ) in EPSA (Politecnica University ). People from all over Spain came to visit us and enjoyed all the programme. Specially  the lectures, pechakuchas, workshop and debates. You can visit the Wiki to see the whole about #Novadors12 and also to know their organizers by following them on Twitter just by using the hashtag or the wiki links. Some of my mates asked me to left them the image of my friki T-shirt design. And I'd like to share it with all of you.

LIFE'S STORIES IN ADULTS' EDUCATION

During this course I have been teaching literacy for adults. It has been a great job and I had enjoyed it a lot! It was my first experience with teaching literacy to people older than me. But the experience was worthy. On this post I would show a project we developed together with other two teachers. The special thing is that we did the whole process on-line by using e-mail and leer.es platform. I met the teacher Javier Abad (Coordinator teacher) once in some educative journeys and I have never met Clara Diaz (Primary ed. Teacher) in person, but we were able to prepare all this work. The project has been finally published in the educational magazine nº 17 called OROVAL , belonging to Canarias territory in Spain. You can download the whole magazine, the conference and the project if you want cliking the link above. Historias de vida. tenerife

FLYING WORDS' COLLABORATION PROJECT

This PP belongs to a project I have created for a course, where working reading and artistic skills. It couldn't be possible without helping of Clara and Javier, both teachers that gave their time for free as part of this project. It was started as a part of my summer course in Valencia called 'Leer en la educación primaria' created by UNED (distance university of Spain) and belonging to leer.es webpage projects. Thanks again to those teachers who give their time and care to create this fabulouse experience to my students. Short description: Adults students from CEIP Francesc Bosch i Morata (Xàtiva-Valencia) working together the Primary students from CEIP Toscal-Longuera (Tenerife). Is a reading project which made words fly from one school to another several times, touching our hearts and our minds. Historias de vida View more presentations from PILARtheMOON .
