BLABBERIZE, A GOOD WEB FOR ESL

Imagen
Today I want to recommend you Blabberize. It is a web created to add voice to pictures, with the extra of a mouth you can modify to match to your picture. Here we are some ideas and some examples from my students:  1- Choose one topic or short story for each group (4 to 6 people). They can decide which one matches to their personality, shy students would be confortable with stories that they already know in Spanish.  2- Tell them about Blabberize in a short presentation. You have got mine on Introduction to Blabberize de CEIP Padre Moreno ">slideshare.  3- Create some cards for working, one card for group would be enough. Print them!  4- Then, tell them to organize themselves to create a Blabberize work with their own ideas. EXAMPLES:  - The ugly duckling   - The ant and the grasshopper  - The very hungry catterpillar - MY STUDENTS FROM THE FOURTH COURSE OF PRIMARY: They create a poster and then we add voice with my mobile phone. I gave them different stories by group because it avoids copying and enriches diversity. If you don't have any,  you can download thousands for free on the internet. You should take into account the level, previous knowledge and the age of your students. (two posts ago you have some links for theatre plays). Then, you explain them that they have to give the roles of the characters and narrator and to distribute it between them. 2- Make a presentation about the source they are going to use to create the presentation. In this case, as it is the first time, I chose http://blabberize.com. You can use my slideshare if you want to: 3- Give them a limited time, for instance two weeks should be enough for this work.
